Important before purchasing a R18 Trike is to get familiar with our 'Terms & Conditions' and 'Warranty Guidelines' as nobody likes surprises when it comes to an important investment. 

All orders placed with Sturgis Trikes B.V Netherlands constitute the acknowledgment and acceptance of all conditions listed within these terms and conditions and any others listed on www.sturgistrike.com


ORDERS can only be shipped to a VERIFIED and MATCHED BILLING ADDRESS - NO EXCEPTIONS. 


All sales are final and all products sold by Sturgis Trikes B.V (the seller) are sold "as is" to the buyer. All products remain the property of Sturgis Trikes B.V. until payment is made in full. Cancellations of orders are only permitted with approval. All orders will not be shipped until payment is made in full. 

RETURNS are STRICTLY for INCORRECT or DAMAGED ITEMS and/or SHIPMENTS. ABSOLUTELY NO REFUNDS on ANY SHIPPING CHARGES, this includes the original shipping to the customer from our facility or distributor that is included in our listed prices. 

All returns or exchanges are subject to at least a 25% restocking fee.

All returned or exchanged merchandise must be in its original saleable packaging and include all original documentation, instructions, warranties, and hardware. The original invoice and/or packing slip must also be provided with the return or exchange. No merchandise will be returned or exchanged that show signs of being used, installed, modified, and/or painted. (If installed parts are sent to us you can expect no refund and to have to pay for outgoing shipping for the return of the item to you, the customer.) Returned or exchanged items will only be accepted if the item is returned within 5 calendar days from receipt of merchandise. 

Returns and exchanges must be sent and insured for the full value of the merchandise by the buyer. A FREIGHT COLLECT RETURN will be refused by Sturgis Trikes B.V. If a refusal at the time of delivery does not (or cannot) occur, the shipping charges based on your chosen carrier will be charged to your credit card. All returned merchandise must have a RETURN AUTHORIZATION NUMBER issued by Sturgis Trikes B.V. Returns without a RA (Returned Authorization) number will be refused and/or become the property of Sturgis Trikes B.V.



Please keep all original packaging, including packing materials and original shipping carton. DO NOT RETURN DAMAGED PARTS WITHOUT PRIOR AUTHORIZATION from Sturgis Trikes B.V. A return authorization (RA) number is issued by Sturgis Trikes B.V. and must accompany all returned or exchanged merchandise.

Cancelled orders will be refunded immediately upon request. A 3% cancellation fee, without exception, will apply to cover the credit card and/or PayPal fees we incur when we both process and return your payment(s).

Inspect your package carefully while the delivery company is still present. Be sure to note any problems or damage prior to signing the delivery receipt. If the package is in good condition, open it immediately and check for hidden damages. If a damaged part is received, inform Sturgis Trikes B.V. immediately. 

Damaged shipments require that the delivery companies’ receipt was marked as damaged by you, the customer. 

All special orders, like all in-stock orders, require the full payment upon ordering, we will notify you during a phone order or contact you after a web order is made to clarify the item is special order and verify you want to wait for that particular item. Wait times on special order parts can vary immensely, sometimes weeks, sometimes months and in some cases up to a year or more for back ordered parts. If a cancellation occurs by the buyer for any reason during that wait time, the full payment is forfeited. Sturgis Trikes B.V.is not liable for late shipments. Shipping dates are approximate. Buyer shall not be entitled to charge backs, reductions in price, and/or other offsets, as a result of a late shipment(s) or failure to deliver in the approximated delivery date or timeframe. 

All merchandise sold by Sturgis Trikes B.V. is only subject to manufacturers warranty and conditions. Sturgis Trikes B.V. gives no warranties, expressed or implied, including, but not limited to warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Sturgis Trikes B.V. is not liable for any damages, which are incurred directly or indirectly on the vehicles or operators or passengers of the vehicles. This includes problems or damage arising from the correct or incorrect installation of any product we sell. 

If an item is placed on back order status, the item will be shipped immediately upon its renewed availability. 

Performance Products 
Sturgis Trikes B.V. is engaged in selling after-market items. The buyer understands and accepts the ramifications for installing and owning performance and/or after-market vehicle parts. Sturgis Trikes B.V.is not accountable for any misconception or disappointments associated with any sold parts. All engine, exhaust, performance, and modification parts are legal for off road use only. 



Sturgis Trikes B.V.is not liable for any failure to produce a product to a buyer when the cause of such failure is an act of nature, labor dispute, supplies or material shortages; acts of local, state, national, civic or other authorities of public agencies, utility or communication failures, accidents, strikes, transportation problems, or any act or cause does not normally occur in the ordinary course of sellers business.

All installations will be done in a timely manner. All parts removed from vehicles, will be returned to the vehicle owner unless otherwise noted or communicated. Any part left by the vehicle owner at Sturgis Trikes B.V. premises for over 30 (thirty) days will be considered property of Sturgis Trikes B.V. Buyer will indemnify and hold Sturgis Trikes B.V. harmless from all liabilities with buyers vehicle, which would inhibit seller from doing the install or said work, it will be at Sturgis option to get needed parts for buyer at buyers expense.

Sturgis Trikes B.V. will not be liable for any loss, damage, or theft of vehicles or articles left inside the vehicle while Sturgis Trikes B.V. has possession of buyers’ vehicle. 

Any modification or changes to the Sturgis R18 Trike kit or accessory,failure to follow the guidelines and directions noted in the owner’s manual,and/or improper maintenance will avoid warranties. Misuse, abuse, accidents, unreasonable use, or Acts of God will not be covered under warranty. Normal wear and tear items are not covered under warranty. 

All accessories not explicity mentioned above, and for wich warranty is not specifically defined,are warrantied against defects in material and/or workmanship for a period of 90 days. (examples include Engine guards, Parking brakes, Running boards and light bars. Normal wear and tear items are not covered under any warranty.

This warranty also does not cover finishes such as plated or painted surfaces with discoloration or rust. This warranty shall be limited to the repair or replacement of the system, wich may be proven defective under normal use. We will not warranty any item that has been abused, misused, improperly installed, or modified.

Dealers or distributors are not authorized to make dispositions binding on Sturgis Trikes BV , we will not be responsible for any labor charges incurred in removing or replacing any item under warranty. All returns must be accompanied by a return authorization number and copy of the purchase invoice. Parts being returned without a return authorization may be refused at our receiving docks.

Your Sturgis R18 Trike conversion kit carries a two-year unlimited mile warranty.The start date of warranty coverage will be determined by the registration date of the warranty card. To initiate your warranty, please fill in and send the Warranty Registration Card within 30 calendar days of installation back to Sturgis Trike BV. If the warranty is not registered with Sturgis Trike BV during this time frame,the warranty period will begin when the trike kit was shipped from Sturgis Trikes factory.

Note: Exeptions do apply. Sturgis Trike BV reserves the right to make changes at any time without notice and without incurring obligation.
